Topaz Sharpen AI: Last 2 days for $20 discount

Last month I told you about the new Topaz Sharpen AI. Today is the last day to save $20 off the retail price. NOTE: Use coupon “plugsnpixels” to save another $9!

Here what Topaz has to say about Sharpen:

“What makes Sharpen AI different?

Two weeks ago, we introduced our new product, Sharpen AI. Getting the correct sharpness in your image has long been a challenge for photographers. Even with the best equipment and expert techniques, we sometimes still end up with images that could be sharper. That is why almost every photo editing software provides a “Sharpen” feature. So what makes Sharpen AI different than other sharpening tools?

The answer is in Artificial Intelligence. AI approaches the problem very differently. Instead of studying the mathematical model of the blur process and how to solve the inverse problem, we train an Artificial Neural Network with millions of blur-sharp image pairs. The neural network will eventually “remember” what the sharp image should look like if it sees a blurry image.

Sharpen AI vs. Photoshop Smart Sharpen

While the edges get sharper with Photoshop Smart Sharpen, the detail that is gained by using Sharpen AI is incomparable.

Sharpen

Most commercial sharpening tools will sharpen everything in your image – including noise. Sharpen AI only sharpens the things you want and brings out the detail and definition in your shot. It only sharpens the good stuff.

Stabilize

When shooting a moving object or in a low-light scenario, motion blur is a common problem. Sharpen AI uses machine learning to stabilize motion blur in your images for a crisp clear result.

Focus

Practically, there is no way to recover your photos when they are out of focus. Sharpen AI remembers patterns in your image and can rescue lens or focal blur. This your best chance for sharpening out-of-focus eyes or correct issues caused by incorrect in-camera focus. Tip: use selective adjustments for best results!

Before you buy: Sharpen AI is free for users who already own Topaz InFocus. Sharpen AI has higher system requirements than InFocus, but we encourage you to give it a try. Please feel free to keep using InFocus if you find that your computer doesn’t meet the requirements.”
