As always, I dredge up older photos from my archives because they are in the most need of help and the improvements through AI are the most impressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This model photo was taken in 2006 with a 4MP Minolta non-DSLR camera using ambient studio lighting and auto-focus. Not bad, but not great. Here is the full frame image (reduced) for reference:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This incredible improvement is not a fluke! Here is another model shot under the same conditions with the same camera the same year. First, the full frame for reference, followed by the blow-ups:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A couple of years later in 2008 I was using a 6MP Sony non-DSLR camera and made a trip to New York City. Gigapixel AI<\/a><\/strong> makes it fun to go crowd-peeping after the fact!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first photo was taken on Ellis Island<\/strong>, with lots of interesting folks from around the world visiting (as is appropriate for this landmark).
