DAP (for short) is a perfect workflow for those who take photos and love paint effects but are not willing or able to engage in the tedious traditional art methods required to achieve those desired results!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s take a fresh look at Dynamic Auto Painter<\/a> (DAP) with some new examples of digital images-to-art (though of course any type of image source will work).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is my original photo of a classic style building on a college campus:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simply drag any image into DAP directly from a folder on your computer or Adobe Bridge and begin exploring the presets on the left side of the screen. Click the Start or play button, and sit back and watch your image automatically turn into a piece of art before your eyes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The process is actually progressively live and can be interactive if you wish, not just a simple static filter effect. Or you can go off and do something else for a few minutes while letting DAP run through the process of building the masterpiece in the background:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are the two different auto-only finished results of the works-in-progress shown in the screenshots above:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No real user skill or effort was required to get these nice results, so if quick and easy is what you’re looking for, there it is! Or, as described in my previous blog post<\/a>, you can access the various tabs as shown in the screenshots above to further manually interact with the processing and eventual presentation of the final results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is another example, a view of the railroad and Pacific Ocean at San Clemente before and after the DAP treatment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
