A complete arc across the sky, full spectrum colors, and it lingered for quite awhile.<\/p>\n<p>I only had an iPhone with me so I captured what I could. This first shot was digitally zoomed but doesn&#8217;t look too bad, and it retained the actual colors I was seeing:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-325\" src=\"https:\/\/plugsandpixels.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/rainbow.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"648\" height=\"864\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Next I tried a Pano shot which managed to encompass the entire rainbow and then some, but at the expense of the colors for some reason. Even adding some artsy afterwards didn&#8217;t fully recover the hues:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-326\" src=\"https:\/\/plugsandpixels.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/rainbow2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"864\" height=\"451\" srcset=\"https:\/\/plugsandpixels.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/rainbow2.jpg 864w, https:\/\/plugsandpixels.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/rainbow2-768x401.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 864px) 100vw, 864px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But even so, I think you get the idea of how wonderful this unexpected experience was.<\/p>\n<p><em>Thanks for reading!
