The recent Luminar Spring update<\/a><\/strong> (v. 1.27.1) focused on portrait editing, so here are a couple of new examples of those particular capabilities. These results from early-era digital photos are a combination of Portrait-specific adjustments (such as Face and Skin) along with other included creative options such as Studio Light (that’s where the ribbed shadows came from) and Black & White (the originals are followed by the edits as seen while being edited within Luminar).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I spent many years shooting and developing 35mm Tri-X, and as a result have tons of black-and-white photos of subjects that should have been captured in color! No problem, Luminar<\/a><\/strong> has a Restoration enhancement tool that offers a perfect fix after-the-fact! And when the color restoration is done you can go in and further retouch and edit the result as much as you want:<\/p>\n\n\n
